WHAT PROPERTIES DO YOU MANAGE?
EANDC has produced Single Family homes, Senior Apartments, Town Homes, & Veterans Apartments. There are units for the disabled/handicapped or sensory impaired as well. You may view our properties here.
IS YOUR HOUSING BASED ON MY INCOME?
Annual family income factors into whether or not you are eligible to apply for our properties, but we do NOT set our rent according to your income level. We do accept Section 8 vouchers. For more information, contact or stop by your county’s Property Management office (address and contact information listed above).
DO I QUALIFY?
Eligibility is determined by the annual family income (see previous paragraph) and a number of other factors (loan status, credit history, recent criminal history, etc). For detailed eligibility info, check the appropriate pre-application(s) available on our properties page.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
If you are interested in applying for one of our properties, look through the Pre-Application PDFs, available on our properties page. If you find you are qualified to apply, contact your local Property Management office to schedule an appointment. Make sure to bring the $18 non-refundable pre-application fee as a money order, payable to EANDC or East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation.
WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK FROM YOU?
If you have submitted all the necessary information, you will be placed on the waiting list. Once a unit is available, we will contact the person at the top of the list.
WHAT QUALIFIES AS AN AFTER-HOURS MAINTENANCE EMERGENCY?
The after-hours emergency maintenance number should ONLY be used after business hours (M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm) for situations in which loss will occur if the problem is not IMMEDIATELY addressed. Below are several examples for which it is appropriate to call:
